This book started out as a fun and witty children's book. But as the artist progressed through the text, another meaning began to emerge.Those first funny monsters gradually transformed into others, cold and unfriendly, neither human nor spontaneous, geometric monsters like machines programmed for evil, that seem to rise again and again from the ashes.
